Job Description:
A company is looking for an Overdose Helpline Operator to
provide support and assistance to individuals at risk of
overdose.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls and provide guidance on overdose recognition
and response
Document interactions in the REDCap database and connect callers
with local resources
Collaborate with team members and stay updated on best practices in
overdose prevention
Required Qualifications:
Relevant lived, familial, or professional experience with overdose
or substance use
Availability for evening, night, and weekend shifts preferred
Demonstrated crisis management skills and ability to handle
emotional situations
Comfortable using helpline software and digital communication
platforms
Strict adherence to confidentiality policies regarding caller
information
